Surfers Art

Surfers Art, an on-line surf art gallery showcasing the surf art paintings, photos and prints of Steve Andrew and Roger Holmes. Both are surfers and are inspired by the dynamic nature of surfing, the locations and the commitment of surfers.
Surfing is a physical interaction between the surfer and the sea, surfers from beginner to seasoned professionals and hard core are looking for the adrenaline rush that comes from catching a wave. Even non-surfers are taken with the beauty of seeing a surfer dancing along a wave in an act of free form expression.

Steve Andrew and Roger Holmes surf art are painted in very different styles, Steve Andrew mostly paints his figurative and abstract surf paintings in Acrylics. Roger Holmes surf paintings are more inspired by the locations, Roger paints in Pastels, Watercolour’s, Acrylics and Oils. Sometimes working in mixed media. Roger Holmes is also a keen surf photographer and is particularly drawn to black and white surfing photography which often brings out the drama of the beautiful surf spots in Cornwall and Devon.

We are always looking for venues to show our work, if you are a gallery owner and you would like to show our surf art, please contact us.

We can also provide you with limited and open edition prints which are printed by ourselves using an Epson Stylus 9500 pro using long life pigment inks on fine art inkjet media. Photographic images are printed on Smooth Satin High White Photographic Paper resulting in exceptional detail for prints that will last.
